Some vacation memories come back with a soundtrack.
The first walk across warm sand. The sound of waves rolling in from the Gulf. A sunset from the balcony. Cold drinks on the Tiki Deck. Music floating through the salt air at the end of a perfect Destin day.
For many Pelican Beach guests, Bo Adams has been part of that soundtrack.
Bo grew up connected to Pelican Beach and, over the years, has performed hundreds of times for guests, families, owners, and friends. His music has been part of countless beach vacations — those easygoing afternoons and evenings when the Gulf breeze settles in and live music turns a good day into a memory.
Now, Bo’s musical journey is moving into an exciting new chapter with the release of “Rocketship,” the second release from his album Connection. And Pelican Beach is proud to celebrate with a special live beachside event.

Bo Adams is a true singer-songwriter with a sound that feels both familiar and fresh — rooted in Southern storytelling, shaped by the Gulf Coast, and carried by a voice that makes people stop and listen.
Born in Memphis, hailing from Oxford, Mississippi, and raised along Florida’s Gulf Coast, Bo brings a deep Southern sense of place to his music. His style blends Southern Americana, heartfelt lyrics, soulful vocals, and masterful fingerpicking guitar into songs that feel personal, honest, and lived-in.
Fans have heard echoes of artists like James Taylor, Van Morrison, Paul Simon, Chris Stapleton, Michael Hedges, Robert Earl Keen, the Grateful Dead, The Beatles, and RL Burnside in his influences — but Bo’s music ultimately stands on its own.
It is warm. It is raw. It is real.
And for Pelican Beach guests who have heard him live, it is also a reminder of summer days in Destin.
